Kool and the Gang
Kool & The Gang est un groupe de R&B-pop crossover de Jersey City, USA. Ils ont été formés en 1964 en tant que groupe de jazz appelé The Jazziacs. En 1969, ils ont signé chez De-Lite Records et ont publié leur album éponyme.
À la fin des années 1970, ils sont passés du pur deep funk au disco et ont eu plus de succès.
Dans le groupe, il y a Robert Bell, Ronald Bell, George Brown, Dennis Thomas, Robert Mickens, Clifford Adams, James Taylor, Sonnie Martin, Rodney Ellis, Jirmad Gordon et Shawn McQuiller.
Leur chanson "Jungle Boogie" apparaît dans le film Pulp Fiction de 1994.
